#IvyIsWhereYouAre: New furry coworkers

Chrissy Pearson has been with Ivy Tech Indianapolis’ Visual Communications program for five years as an adjunct instructor. Eight months ago, she took on a new role as an Educational Technologist.

Little did she know not even a year later, her role would help the service area make one of its largest transitions.

In the last few weeks that the College has had to change to a remote environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she’s been supporting instructors transition into virtual classrooms.

This isn’t without the help of her new co-worker, Georgia.

“My dog, Georgia, has been very social during many Zoom meetings,” she shared.

Georgia provides a friendly face via Zoom, bringing smiles to everyone that she helps!
