Kimberly Hilton has been an associate professor in the English department at Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis for 15 years, and spent six years prior to that as an adjunct.

Like the rest of us, Hilton has been making the adjustment to a remote workplace, complete with new “coworkers.”

“This is my home office assistant, Bandit.” Hilton says. “He’s a seven-year-old Pomeranian who is clearly not pulling his own weight.”
