EMI at Ivy Tech Lawrence has successful open house

On Wednesday, September 4, our Lawrence campus hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for the Environmental ManagementInstitute at Ivy Tech.

EMI officially joined Ivy Tech on August 1 under the College’s Homeland Security and Public Safety program. The organization has been Indiana’s premier training organization for more than 30 years, specializing in environmental compliance.

The grand opening began with the ribbon-cutting at 1 p.m., followed by an open house that featured tours in the asbestos and lead museum, general asbestos education, lab demonstrations and more.
