Greencastle Campus Celebrates 10-years in Putnam County

Ivy Tech Greencastle celebrated their 10-year anniversary on Saturday, November 2 with community members and public officials at its Denim and Diamonds event.

Some of this campus’ many accomplishments include:

• Graduated 688 students
• Awarded 760 credentials
• Introduced two nursing programs, with 159 graduates
• Launched accelerated degree program (ASAP) in 2016, with 32 graduates so far
• Continued a great relationship with DePauw University, creating collaborative learning experiences for our students to have diverse, valuable learning environments
• Established several partnerships with the local workforce

Guests heard from Mayor Bill Dory, College President Sue Ellspermann, Chancellor Kathy Lee, Vice Chancellor Greg Cook, Associate Professor Amy Smith, and alumna Jessica Lawrence. Also, thanks to one of our sponsors, Mason Jewelers, attendees got the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to be entered to win a 18k white gold necklace!
