Local newspaper features Franklin campus’ career options for high school students

Ivy Tech Community College Franklin was featured in a local newspaper, in an article called “Lessons in trades: Students learn about careers, school options.”

The article discusses the companies and concepts Franklin high-school students were introduced to at the first Franklin Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing Career Fair.

Ivy Tech’s Franklin campus was represented there, and educated high school students on the benefits of earning a short-term certification by earning 18 credits hours for a technical certificate, which also go towards an associate degree.
