Avon location sees success with Wayne Adult Basic Education partnership

Ivy Tech Avon is seeing success with its partnership with Wayne Adult Basic Education. The two organizations teamed up in the fall of 2017, in which Ivy Tech Avon provides space for High School Equivalency (HSE) classes.

“Since August 2017, we have seen 49 students enroll in the program with 16 having enrolled since August 2019,” said Angela Davis, Ivy Tech Avon’s site manager. “Of those 16, six have already passed their HSE, and even better, of those six, five are new Ivy Tech students for the spring semester!”

Davis also noted that education is key to a brighter future and is excited to see this partnership grow.
