Ivy Tech Alumni Nominated for INTERNnet Impact Awards

On February 18, Ivy Tech sponsored Indiana INTERNnet’s 2020 IMPACT Awards, an event that celebrates internship success across the state. Indiana INTERNnet is a free internship-matching program from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, connecting employers, students, high schools, colleges and universities. 

At this year’s event, Charlene Williams, assistant director of Career Services, was nominated for the Indiana INTERNnet Impact Award by one of her former students, Elizabeth. Charlene helped Elizabeth complete a Human Services internship, inspiring her to nominate Charlene. 

Charlene wasn’t the only person in the Ivy Tech family highlighted at this event. Director of Career Services at Ivy Tech Valparaiso, Abiodun Durojaye, was the recipient of the College Career Development Professional of the Year award. Congrats to all on the hard work!
